“You don’t have to be an Artist to be an artist! When I joined Julie’s class I intended doing it for one term so that I could learn to draw, seven years later and I realise it is so much more. Julie is an excellent artist but the class is never about Julie. A subtle teacher whose passion for art and enabling others is intoxicating. Her approach is non-prescriptive allowing all class members to explore their own creativity. The brief at the beginning of term will be interpreted in as many ways as there are class members. I have learned so much from Julie in so many aspects of art, discovering mediums I didn’t know existed. We also
